"This is a powerfully told story that raises many social issues familiar to all of us. In the telling, it is also brought home to the reader that there are no easy answers to any of these issues. The characters are well-developed, the plot unfolds brilliantly, ending with an unexpected twist. Definitely a thought-provoking read and one I would highly recommend."

A shocking cautionary tale...fast-paced and eloquent...Part horror and part human interest story. The way that Anderson ends his novel is electrifying in its brilliance. This is an author who takes a chance and I loved it.           Rabid Readers Reviews, Book Blog
